Helen’s Art Space is delighted to announce Saturdays Classes are back this September 9th 2023

Both Morning (10-11am) and (11.30-12.30)

Saturday morning art workshops are open to any skill level, this art class is led in a fun and engaging way where kids can explore their creativity. Learning different techniques and work with various materials.

This class helps children to develop their skill and imaginative ideas through the investigation of various techniques and styles. They learn about colour and basic fundamentals needed for any kind of art such as composition, perspective, volume, line & shape and pattern.

Each term introduces a new theme or genre, which vary according to season or individual students’ interests. Art classes in general improve childrens abilities towards planning, decision-making and thinking through guided instruction that also teaches them patience to follow through the process of creating an art work.

Saturday Morning Art is fully booked for Term One (September 23), Click link below to send me your details and I'll add you to the waiting list for Term Two (after mid term break).

MY STORY

My name is Helen Hyland. I am an Irish artist originally from Kildare. I spent four years studying Art, Design and Printmaking in college, then going on to work within the Design and Advertising Industry in Dublin for 15 years. In recent years as well as developing my own art, the heart of my business is sharing my knowledge and passion for art especially painting, pastel art, printmaking, sculpture and paper crafts with children.
All my workshops, camps and classes are led in a fun and engaging way where kids can explore their creativity. Learning different techniques and working with various art materials.
Kids naturally love art, and it brings a lot of benefits like improving their motor skills, developing creative thinking, observing and describing, not to forget that art classes build self-confidence.
I have built up a close weekly following and pride my classes on the personal experience the kids receive. Keeping the numbers low so each child gets a one to one learning experience.

MY PURPOSE

Helen’s Art Space workshops and classes purpose is to expose children to different art techniques and art materials, such as painting, chalk & oil pastels, collage, acrylic paints, watercolours and crafts.

Children naturally love art, and it brings a lot of benefits like improving their motor skills, developing creative thinking, decision making, risk taking and inventiveness.
