Saturday morning kids and after school art classes in Marlay Park and Naas, are open to any skill level, these art classes are led in a fun and engaging way where kids can explore their creativity. Learning different techniques and working with various art materials., developing their skills and imaginative ideas. Each term introduces a new seasonal theme, using a variety of art materials, acrylic paint, watercolours, pastels (chalk and oil), clay sculpture, collage, charcoal and pencil.
Art classes in general improve children's planning process, decision-making and also teaches them patience to follow through the process of creating an art work. All art classes and workshops are suitable for age 7- 12years.
I also run Teen camps for kids that have finished primary school.
Please note: Due to the nature of the activities, participants should be comfortable using scissors,
needles and hot glue gun.

Who is Helen?
My name is Helen Hyland, I’m an Irish Artist, I studyied Art, Graphic Design and Printmaking in college, then went on to work within the Design and Advertising Industry in Dublin for 15 years.
I love to create, always have and always will. If I’m not doing something creative I’m thinking about doing something creative. As well as developing my own art, the heart of my business is sharing my knowledge and passion for art especially painting, pastel art, printmaking, sculpture and paper crafts with children.
I believe we are all given gifts in our lives and I feel by doing what I do, by sharing my knowledge and passion
for art is definitely putting my gifts to good use. By helping and sharing my knowledge with the children I teach is a definite feel good shot of dopamine every week.
All my workshops, camps and classes are led in a fun and engaging way where kids can explore their creativity. Learning different techniques and working with various art materials. Kids naturally love art, I have built up a close weekly following and pride my classes on the personal experience the kids receive. Art can bring a lot of benefits like creative thinking, improving motor skills, build self-confidence and friendships, the chats, laughing, singing and general feel good vibe is pure Joy.
