Autumn at Helen’s Art Space 🎨🍂
Firstly, thank you!
Thank you so much to everyone who booked into my summer camps this year.
It was another fabulous summer filled with creativity, colour and some truly beautiful artwork. We painted with acrylics on canvas, explored needle felting, and my absolute favourite was definitely our Sardines project, using watercolour and pencils.
I love seeing the different ideas and personalities that come through in every child’s artwork, and I feel very lucky to spend my summers creating with so many wonderful young artists.
Saturday Art Classes
A NEW TERM
For me, September always feels more like the start of a new year than January. Working alongside the school calendar, there’s something lovely about a fresh term, a new routine and a whole new season of creativity ahead.
My Saturday classes begin Term 1 on Saturday, 5th September, running for 8 weeks.
Due to the huge number of children currently on my waiting list, I’ve added a brand-new Saturday class!
Saturday Classes
10:00–11:00am
11:30am–12:30pm
1:00–2:00pm
3:00–4:00pm — NEW CLASS!
I’ll also continue with my Thursday after-school class.
I’ve made a huge dent in my waiting list, but if you’re still waiting to hear from me, please get in touch.
Drawing Club ✏️
I’m also delighted to be bringing back Drawing Club this term.
A lovely, screen-free creative club delivered straight to your door by post.
Each month, children receive a creative drawing pack filled with inspiration, activities and things to explore — giving them something exciting to look forward to arriving in the post.
It’s a chance to step away from screens, get out the pencils and spend some quiet time drawing, creating and letting their imaginations take over.
It’s perfect for children who love to draw, doodle and create — and for parents looking for a little more screen-free creativity in their week.
Adult Painting Workshops 🎨
I’m delighted to say that Adult Painting Workshops are coming back, starting on Sunday, 20th September.
Bookings are available through my website shop.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just fancy an afternoon of painting and creativity, these workshops are a lovely opportunity to slow down, get creative and enjoy some time with your paintbrush.
I’m also thinking about running a Watercolour & Pen Workshop for Adults.
If this is something you’d be interested in, I’d love to hear from you. If there’s enough interest, I’ll get a date in the diary!
Harry Potter is Back! 🪄
For all the Harry Potter fans…
Harry Potter Camp will be back for the October mid-term break!
I’ll be running a 3-day camp from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th October, with sessions running from:
10:30am–12:30pm
More details will be coming soon, but if your little wizard, witch or muggle would love to join, keep an eye out!
It’s going to be a magical few days of Harry Potter-inspired creativity, art and plenty of fun. ⚡🪄

Your support means so much to me and allows Helen’s Art Space to keep growing and, most importantly, to keep creating a space where children and adults can explore their creativity, try something new and have fun with art.
