Art Exhibition - Marlay Park

MARLAY HOUSE ART EXHBITION “ENCHANTED BY MARLAY”

I’m so excited to share the news that I’m exhibiting in my first ever art exhibition. I';ve been busily painting for the past number of weeks, and am excited to share my new paintings with you all.

Inspired by the beautiful wild flowers, birds and butterflies of Marlay Park.

This is a joint venture celebrating Marlay Park in its 50th year being open to the public.

Sharing this space with my fellow Marlay Artists Kate Bedell, Yelena Kosikh and Jennifer Rowe.

The opening will take place on Thursday, July 24, at 6 p.m. and is by private

invitation only, officiated by local historian Peadar Curran.

PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ADDED TO THE OPENINGNGUEST LIST. helensartspace@gmail.com

Admission is free and the show will be open to the public Friday 25th to Sunday

27th of July from 10 am to 4pm.

‘Enchanted by Marlay’ endeavours to convey the artists’ deep appreciation for Marlay

as a place of inspiration grounding their work, and to contribute creatively to the

community. The initiative by the council to regenerate the courtyard with small

creative businesses has provided a space for the arts to thrive and continues to add

to the unfolding story of the park. The artists have studios in the Marlay Craft

Courtyard where they create and sell their original work. By teaching and hosting

workshops they also nurture future generations of artists.

A selection of work in a range of mediums including watercolour, oil, silk, and encaustic

(beeswax) painting will be showcased, making this a diverse and vibrant display of talent

and artistic disciplines.

A painting will be raffled for Breast Cancer Ireland in Memoria of Marian Lovett

Art Exhibition Marlay Park. Artist Helen Hyland exhibits new art collection inspired by the parks flowers, butterflies and wildlife.
